The bill of materials (BOM) is a comprehensive list of all the components, parts, assemblies, and raw materials of which an item consists. It provides references to "sub-items" including the quantity. Quantity can be in multiple units, for example 4 pce {EA}, 400 ml {MLT} or 330 gram {GRM}.
