Every material (raw material, production material, finished good, handling unit) consists of one or more material types:
- Consumable
- Disposable
- Durable
- Packaging Materials
Packaging Material means any material, container or wrapping, used for or in connection with the transport, handling, protection, marketing or sale of any Supplies, excluding any material, container or wrapping used for the containment of the Supplies.
The Packing Material DataTopic will be able to exchange the following data:
- Materials type / Composition
- Weigh & Dimensions
- Circularity Data (e.g. % recyclable materials used, % recyclable, recycling instructions)
- Printing Specs
- Packaging Tax (packaging tax class per country)
